Having been with us only a short time it is time to say farewell to our Td5.
Our new flat doesn't have space for an additional car and I won't I sell my 200Tdi so it's time for the Td5 to go. For Sale, Td5 110 CSW X reg. Click image to enlarge Originally owned by a school in London and used as a minibus, it changed hands into the ownership of a teacher who only gave it light usage. It then came into my ownership in September last year. Good Points 7 Seater (Centre Seat removed in place of cubby box and bench seats removed in place of 2 fold down seats, all included) Genuine County Specification Tracker Xeng Security products Smart Water Kit with lifetime registration form Genuine alloys including spare 4 good BFG KM2's (Spare fitted with BFG all terrain) Runs and drives very well. Paintwork while showing a few knocks will benefit from a polish. Sunroof which doesn't leak! Low Mileage 114006miles Carpets in good condition. Seats and upholstery in good condition. New door locks fitted New Battery with 3 year warranty New front disks, pads, calipers fitted wheel bearings inspected and re-greased. Tow Bar with 13pin Electrics Loads of paperwork and Receipts Original Hand Book Locking Wheel Nuts Rear rubber floor mats (fitted after photos taken) Full Years Mot as of 16/02/16 Bad points. Rear door needs attention, had been my intention to swap it to a Tdci one but time and flat took priority. Clutch release bearing can be a bit noisy intermittently - I put this down to lack of use rather than any serious issue. Passenger side middle door needs a small repair to the frame Few oil leaks underneath - nothing drastic Inter-cooler could do with replacing It is a good, solid truck which just needs a bit of love to get her back to best. As it stands there is nothing wrong with it which prevents it from being used every day. I used it intensively for a month and a half while my 200Tdi was having its head rebuilt and since then it has done very little work. It would suit someone who wants to start with a good base vehicle and modify to their taste. Forum Price looking for £8500 Price Drop! No swaps or part exchanges. Vehicle is view able by appointment only Weekends in Tonbridge. My advice would be to fix the problems you have stated if you want top bucks
A few hundred quid would sort it all out. The Door and read cross member etc. 11k is a little pricey without sorting things out. No one wants a project for that sort of money. Just my advice as I've bought and sold a few. Good luck with the sale |

Tbh I think £9k is still high for it, you can pick up a 90 CSW for £7.5k same age and same miles. The market isn't as strong as some people make out or would like and its weaker for 110s.

Haha if only it was that simple!
I would do the work myself but my workshop is being slowly packed up and stored as I have nowhere to do keep my workshop at my flat. I don't have parking for both vehicles so it is stored at my parents house, which is up for sale. Plan was to do it up slowly and keep it but things have evolved since we bought it and now we cannot afford to keep it. Think you might have to accept a drop in price to get rid quickly.
If it's any consolation, my TD5 Had release bearing whine. I was convinced I'd be replacing imminently. Four years ater and it was still goinf strong, just the whining for a few minutes, when starting from cold. Has a Rakeway solid flywheel and clutch in the garage for fiur years waiting for the inevitable, which never came! Good luck on the sale. |
