Can someone clarify the difference in part numbers for those Celebration edition badges? Above is such a badge with part number LR069121. But below I found another picture of an original Celebration edition badge with part number LR069120. They look very much alike, but is one of those two maybe the plaque on the radiator grill, and the other with a different part number the plaque installed on the rear body panel? Anyone know this, can confirm, or explain the differences? Thanks, Eric You never actually own a Defender. Ok, you have a point there. Now, how is the one in the front fitted onto the grille? Not riveted I guess.

I have now taken both badges out of their bags and established they are different.
They are actually identical in appearance and size, however one has a locating peg on the back and the other hasn't . You can see this from the photos below Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Wanted a Defender for 30 years - now own the best - A Heritage 2015 90 SW Heritage 2014 RR Sport 2014 RR Evoke |

I think the badge without rivet holes is for the front grill of an adventure model
The badges on the font of the heritage are riveted on Wanted a Defender for 30 years - now own the best - A Heritage 2015 90 SW Heritage 2014 RR Sport 2014 RR Evoke |

Hi Eric, I know these are Metal and I know they are fixed using double sided tape. I don't know the part number for this badge but I do know, because I've tried, that both LR spares and aftermarket suppliers won't let you order any Heritage trimmings unless you can provide a valid Heritage model chassis number ! . . . I've been trying to get hold of both internal and external 1948 / 2015 vintage style Heritage badges to put on my 2015XS, but so far just no way of ordering any. They do come up on eBay every now and then, but as you can see in my post above they go for absolutely crazy prices, so I recon the only way you'll find one is to get a Heritage Owner to order one for you . . . if you know a Heritage owner that is ! ! . . all the best of luck in your search |
