Sorry you don't like it. It's not mandatory nor automatic, the link at the top has to be used to enable it.

Seems to work ok from a windows phone, although the main site didn't notice that this was a mobile browser.

2 queries if I may :

Sometimes when I switch back to the desktop site (usually to edit a post) - there is no obvious way to go back to mobile browsing ? Sometimes there is a banner link across the top - sometimes not, and when not then I can't find a menu item to switch back, so have to come to the link in this thread.

2nd one is - can we please Smile have an edit function in the mobile version please .... Smile Smile

It's not really an iPad site, it's optimised for smartphone screens.

I keep finding on iOS latest version with chrome that I’m logged out when I come back on. And often then once logged on says no new posts when I’m pretty sure there is.
I asked it to toggle to ‘stay signed in’ and if I leave the page and b go back at another point I’ll find it’s logged out.

It’ll ask me to remember sign in and then it will log in again and say no new posts. TheThunder Rolls🇬🇧🇺🇸
