I've found them, have a look further up the price range and there's another 'spectre' styled one for £85k

Maybe what's most surprising is that in a used vehicle listing there are 30 Defenders listed at £55k or over
![]() I found listings for 4 Spectre types: Land Rover Defender 110 TD XS Station Wagon. Bond "Spectre" styled with all original build parts from actual movie set - £55,000 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...13/5204720 * http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...13/5204720 ![]() Click image to enlarge In build - 110 double cab Defender to Spectre Bond film specification. Prices from £59'000 plus VAT (Nene) http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...ck/4824514 * http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...ck/4824514 ![]() Click image to enlarge LAND ROVER DEFENDER THOR "SPECTRE STYLED" 110 XS DOUBLE CAB PICK UP 2015 (15) (2015) - £59,995 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...15/4968111 * http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...15/4968111 ![]() Click image to enlarge LAND ROVER DEFENDER THOR "SPECTRE STYLED" 110 XS DOUBLE CAB PICK UP/DCPU (2015 MY) (2015) - £85,995 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...my/5176618 * http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...my/5176618 ![]() It seems that if you throw a rope across your bonnet then you can add £1,000s to it's value. At least the last one is actually a close physical copy - interestting to see how they got around the RAI/roll cage issue discussed elsewhere: ![]() * links don't apparently work but cut and paste does? |

Hi All!
What are the advantages and disadvantages of the modified front bumper found on this truck? While I like the additional wheel approach it provides, is there a reason why the factory didn't make them like this from the get go? |

Probably because they've been like that since 1949

That lane is Roych Clough and as you say is closed like many other Peak District lanes because the the "Friends of the Peak District" are better at convincing the National Park to keep them just for walkers.... ![]() There are over 63 lanes targeted for closure in the Peaks...visitor friendly....not. Cheers Simon |
