So things have moved on really well over the last few weeks with lots of changes getting the 90 some way to how I want it to look.
Fitted a set of Wipac LEDs plus J W Speakers off my 110. Refurbed and painted my old steering guard, wanted to keep it subtle so it's now gloss black instead of bare alloy. Fitted a Terrafirma roof rack for the roof tent to go on later in the year. Subwoofer is installed and sounds great, kept the original LR speakers but changed the Alpine HU for my Kenwood as the Bluetooth was decidedly flaky. Fitted a Momo steering wheel from Urban Truck and no longer feel like I'm navigating a ship. Great service and a lovely wheel. Did the glove box conversion, wish I'd done that on my previous Defenders. Fitted a soft A bar. The Nakatanenga rear loadspace mat is ace, cheaper than the LR one and has a lip all round the edge in case of spills. Thanks Brendan et al, chuffed with my purchase Fitted a full KBX grille set, bought from a fellow forum member, really pleased with it too. Fitted my old pair of light bars, just need to wire them up now. Oh, and added a little performance tweak Hopefully, I've found a nice balance of looking purposeful but stylish. Hi Rustyboxx,
thanks for posting the pics and list of mods. I'm expecting a new montalcino machine next week, and a few of your mods have now been added to my list. I think you have balanced the style/purpose equation nicely. |

That's a great colour choice Thanks for your feedback, I'm rather pleased with the look of mine and it's nice to know it provided a little inspiration. Good luck with your new purchase and its evolution, I'd be interested to see its progress 2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful
