No DPF Regen after 2 Years
Having sailed through 2 years of Defender ownership (with just 2 visits to the dealer for standard services) I was musing over the fact that I've never seen the DPF light come on or been aware of the Defender going through the regen process. Should I be worried? Should I ask the dealer to check that the parts are functioning (under warranty)?
The Defender rarely does a very short journey - usually it gets a good run and thoroughly warms up - but now I'm thinking, should I be worried?

It will have done a regen. It's just not that notable. The light is only to indicate a problem or impending problem.

The light is a warning light not an operation indicator. RTFM
Being a heavy, square, fuel inefficient vehicle the Defender does a lot of "passive" regeneration so it is not constantly switching active regeneration on. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
