Good Plan.
Then a tap with a hammer and some heat should come out fine. Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

is it OK heating a bolt in all casting? I've only got Mapp torch so not got the same intensity as oxy/ecet.
Bought a cheap one to get me back on road quick but going to get a gen parts one from Dan (duckworths) and keep as spare. My 109 thread my youtube channel |

god damn it!!!! so belt is off, on inspection the water pump is defo had it. but whilst checking other pulleys found alternator to have slight play and a slight squeak!!!!
now me being me, i can't just replace alternator, i have to upgrade it!!! lol so gonna go from standard 65 amp to 100 amp. which also means upgrading alternator to starter cable I hate replacing maintenance items its just no fun!!!! although at least alternator is useful!! No no, it's still improving. Not interested in a winch too. Can you galv the bulkhead and re build the gearbox and tx box too. A weekends tinkering will see it ready for joining my fleet 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |
