I wonder if JLR really sticks to 400 Heritages worldwide or even 400 in the UK.
My Heritage is one of the first 5 in Hong Kong and my dealer told me there would be 10 here only. But now, I believe there are at least 20 out there Last edited by hw7905 on 20th Jan 2016 5:48am. Edited 1 time in total |

Switzerland alone got an initial allocation of 300 Heritages. In our press release about the Celebration editions was written that worldwide 2654 Heritages would be offered. Who knows, maybe that increased even with time passing and global demand high.
To complete the info about these numbers, our press release stated that worldwide 2277 Adventure editions would be produced, incuding 100 for the Swiss market, as well as 180 Autobiography editions worldwide of which a staggering total of 50 for our Swiss market. I have no idea where these 50 Autobiography were sold here, demand here in Geneva for those was almost non existing and only one got sold to a Mid East origin client living here, not sure if demand in other parts of Switzerland was much bigger. I even suspect that JLR Switzerland may have renegociated the quota during 2015 when seeing how demand for all three editions developed, maybe decreased the Autobiography number and increased the Heritage and Adventure numbers. My dealer alone sold 20 Heritages here in Geneva. Guess we never will hear production numbers which can be written in stone. Eric You never actually own a Defender. Eric, Your numbers for Heritage & Adventure models are exactly as per the Australian brochure with 2,654 & 2,277 respectively. A recent article in an Australian magazine quoted 47 Heritage models in Australia & I know that only 4 came to West Australia, 2 x 90 & 2 x 110 SW's. My book however is 1 of 400. Maybe I got steve's book.

Perhaps you and Steve should swap books so you each have the correct version for your locations...

Does anybody know the numbers for each model and each wheelbase in each market
When i was shopping in aus i was told there were only 8 110 heritage but fortunately i got a 110 adventure, not my first preference but a better purchase in hindsight. It would be good to know how many of long and short wheelbase versions are getting around |

New Zealand reportedly got 8 (all orange) Adventure and 9 Heritage models. Don't know 90 to 110 breakdown.

No book with my 110 Heritage. I've pinged the dealers to find out where it is. Given I picked up the vehicle in early December I'm not holding out much hope!

A quick question regarding some photo's in the book. The Heritage 90 in my book seems to have a radio antenna in the left hand wing even though it is a RHD vehicle, where mine has the antenna in the right hand wing. Anybody else noticed this?
