We have a caravan too. Sat in it right now in fact. However, also love camping and don't mind not having the luxuries. We pick and choose whether to camp or caravan, depending on where we are going, how long for, weather forecast, etc. good to have choices. We will probably keep the roof tent too, for a third choice! we always feel that when away in a campervan or a caravan you spend less time out side doing stuff but when camping you get a lot more done, go more places do more cycling or walking or what ever and even get up earlier in the morning

Feeling sorry for people with trailer tents?
Better ask yourself why you don't just stay at home or in a 5 star hotel?! That's what I would do if I needed some luxury. 😄 |

Mrs H and I thought about a trailer tent 5 years ago but in the end bought a VW minibus and converted it into a camper!! Much warmer and dryer and in the end a lot cheaper too! With a side awning we have loads of space and spend 3 months of the year camping.... Cheers Don.
