I'm jealous. My wife was only too pleased when I ordered the Defender but she put her foot down at the mention of a drone. I'd love one but can't afford a divorce at my time of life! Defender 90XS SW

Currently using a dji phantom 2 with a gopro 4 black.
Swapped the lens out last week for a non fish eye version, so much more usable on the drone as the horizon is now straight rather than curved like a banana Smile

Great pictures,

We use one of these at work and I was lucky enough to go to our local model shop with my little lad (aged 5) to buy it...

Great Smile

I was like a pig in muck, love anything remote controlled !!

Then I saved up and bought its baby brother, I use a No Pro (basically a go pro copy SJ4000) but its still very good Smile

Did you send the gopro away to get the lense changed or did you do it yourself bud?

I have one of those at work too, cracking bits of kit... but expensive!

The CAA training is a bit dear too, but necessary.

Replaced the lens myself, it just screws out.

Where did you get the lense from bud?

That's the only fault I find with the GoPro!

Cheers

I ordered from the states from http://www.peauproductions.com/products/gp43528
Was $100 and with the duty and postage came to around £120.

I think you can get them in the UK but some of them are cheap Chinese imports that are used in CCTV cameras.

HAs made a massive difference to the aerial filming as it now looks like a 'normal' camera with no fisheye at all.
