Personal taste really, we went for the black and we are very satisfied with them, and they don't look overbearing either like so many black products can do.
We also have a few brand new sets of both colours in our Australian workshop which we might get rid of sooner or later, - if you'd like I might even let you have a pair for nothing plus the cost of shipping them. ****CENSORED**** |

RockJaw - you wouldn't by any chance be taking a bulk order on the free headlights?

![]() I am not much of an eBay bloke Caterham and so these things tend to stack up with time - I think I have two or three sets still in their boxes - one set is LHD with park but to be honest, once they are focused we could see no real difference between the two models. Look here Caterham, if you really cannot live without a pair of these JW's why don't you pm me, you never know, you might have something you don't need any longer which I might find irresistibly useful. ****CENSORED**** Last edited by RockJaw on 15th Jan 2016 2:21pm. It's a matter of taste really, and I have seen chrome on white and Corris which look fabulous, espeically with a black surround.
While some people have good taste, others are cursed with bad taste I am fortunate enough to be a man who is not burdened with any taste whatsoever, so I don't mind either way. ****CENSORED**** |

Ah okay well I'm Corris with black headlight surrounds!
I'm worried that the black lights will make the front end all too dark and gloomy! Decisions decisions!! ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge -2015 Defender 90 XS Landmark- |

Nope, Corris looks great with the black JWs, honestly, they really do, with both gray or black surrounds.
I will check stock to see whether the sets we have are all black or whether there is a chrome pair in between. Will stay in touch. ****CENSORED**** |

Hey Caterham, in return for a fairly generous donation to Martin's D2.net website - plus my shipping costs - I might be talked into giving second dibs for two sets of JWs to yourself and Rusty
All our landies are fitted with them already and since it is highly unlikely that we will be taking delivery of any new stock in the future I can see no further use for them. Ye, I know, they do have some value, but the hassle of advertising them - and then stressing over whether they have gone to a good home and not some tasteless prick with a J$%P is simply not worth it............................. ****CENSORED**** |

I have heard complaints about fogging and condensation, but we run quite a few of these as recovery vehicles through the most appalling wet stuff and none of them has ever presented any problems - yet.
Perhaps the lads have some secret to sealing them, I don't know, but I have not heard of any problems from ours. ****CENSORED**** |
