Looks awesome I don't know them personally but think I need to try for a discount because the prices are steep, out of interest what is the quality like? Any play or alignment issues? Never seen anyone with them fitted yet. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Lovley I need to get my 110 V8 auto painted ... Choosing the colour is a nightmare ! Did you swap cappings out etc?

Quality is fantastic. In fact, very impressed with the fit of the doors too - they actually close with a "satisfying thud" at the moment rather than a "flap". I'm sure they'd give a donkey a discount! |

The original cappings were painted and in good nick, so I decided to keep them, but I did toy with getting galvanised ones for a while. I replaced the bulkhead vent flaps and windscreen hinges though, and new door mirror arms etc. One of the key requirements for me with the project is to be able to strip the tilt and door tops completely off in the summer, and if possible, fold the windscreen down! So it won't be having a heavy duty hood frame, just a lightweight galvanised one. Agree on the colour choice issue.... I was wavering all the way to the paint shop to place the order! |

My cappings are shot! Will go for Galv for sure I might not do some of the upgrades you have but on a 110 SW getting the cappings out is a much bigger job than a 90 soft top .... The paint on mine is not as thick as yours was!
But I do love the v8 burble |

CY88, where are you getting that from? Have read a few different reviews and most are not positive for the commonly found ones. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Exactly what I've been reading about at the moment! there was a place down in the south-west recommended on another forum, but they don't seem to have a website - Predator Styling in Wellington, Somerset - anyone heard of them?
Cheers will check these out too |
