As for noise, they seem to be ever so slightly louder on the road than my old ATs.

Obviously it depends on what upgrades (if any) you've done to your stereo/sound proofing. I think they're quite quiet, and as I usually have the stereo on fairly loud, I don't notice them at all. Open window, summer, there's a gentle (comforting?) hum, but no more.

Cheers guys Thumbs Up . I know tyre noise is one of the last things you notice in a Defender but it's something I need to consider when I spend 2-3hours a day sat behind the wheel.

They seem like a real contender for my next set of boots.

Had that's on two days now and coverd around 80 miles ..first impressions on the wet B roads in Hampshire ..I have to say much quieter than I expected for an aggresive tyre which was a surprise.they hold the vehicle well in the wet and I am more than happy with that no slip or sensation of losing grip .
I spent a long time deciding and reading reviews on these and others and it was a toss up between these and BFG.
So no regrets so far..
