Oh I see what you mean. Sorry I asked painful subject a would imagine. I completely agree in terms of complexity. I like things to be quality but simple as possible. Problem is I don't know I it's possible anymore to achieve emissions without all the trickery? |

Hi James
I fully understand that there is a little wizardry in the electronics but this site and the information on it leads me to think there are people who have a deep understanding of the system. So i guess i am looking for some one to do an in depth diagnosis of what the issue may be and fix it. Advice to who that could be would be appreciated Dave |

Hi Dave, crossed wires i think, my fault, i thought you meant you were looking for recommendations for someone to fit the TGV rather than fix your Puma. Cheers

I thought you were trying to reduce complexity and increase reliability!!! However, that is generally a much better idea than messing about with a TGV imo. |

Well the was the thinking but there may be better options. Our disco 4 has 140k on the clock with a Turbo and EGR being the only two big bills in it's life time so the TDV6 may be worth considering especially if i can get a 6 or 8 speed box .
