Guys,
I spoke to Gavin at Artman last week he said : I'm sorry, but I will have to turn this work down as I feel there would be repercussions if I did replicate these. Which is fair enough. Just thought it was best to let you know rather than everyone contacting him. |

Yep the special badge with the 1948 - 2015 lettering is fab and I'd really like one . . . . Does anyone know how to go about getting one ? Can it be ordered from a land rover dealer spares desk ? . . or does anyone know of any good aftermarket supplier who could supply a replica ? . . . . seems to me there are going to be instances where owners will need one so I guess they must be available somehow ?? any thoughts appreciated ?  |

If it's like other parts that are bespoke to Limited Edition models then ordering through the official channels requires the VIN of the vehicle to establish if the order is genuine. Not sure if anyone checks whether 10 of the same part have been ordered against the same VIN though?
You might want to wait though to see if the newer badges come out with 2016 rather than 2015 as the end date? |

Artmin design did the badges for Landrover but have refused to supply those badges direct to the public as it could be a conflict of interest, so it's Landrover only if they will sell you one without a vin number. Ray

Yep spotted the ones on the German site but can't find anything including the "1948 - 2015" lettering.
Also noted that the 1948 - 2015 might yet change to 1948 - 2016 ! ! . . . but my 90's a 2015 so the 1948 - 2015 lettering would be spot on for me. Guess we will have to wait and see . . . . presumably LRJ and their ex suppliers wont be so touchy once production is finished and the only market is after market ? ? I will keep looking and keep trying ! Thanks for your input  |

I'm still looking for one of these special 1948 - 2015 badges. I just can’t find any method of buying one . . have spent months trying ?
