Like the US and Canada you guys don't exactly have a problem with space to put a garage, and you can make one as big as you like.
Would you beleive it Pickles but over here, when they build new houses with a garage they don't make them big enough to put even a compact car in (and so you can open the doors etc) as apparently the trend is just to use the garage as a dumping ground for all manner of stuff, rather than house a car. I had a 3 car open front garage at my last house, with enough height that the Defender went in perfectly, it was dry, fully lit, and I had a double garage sized workshop too with storage above the entire space. It was truly awesome and I miss it every single day 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

Wifey has an Audi S3, which is basically our everydayer,....it will fit in the garage alongside Gracie no worries, but it's too much of a hassle opening & shutting the garage door every time etc, so the Audi mostly sits under our carport which is more accessable, & still keeps the weather off.

This was my lovely garage, and it was made even better having three LR stable mates

Won't be space in the garage for my 110!
May move the series 3 to the barn if away for a while and 110 can go in for a bit... Click image to enlarge Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

I've got a nice sized double garage, sadly it doesn't have a roof after lightning struck it a few years ago and damaged it and I was too lazy to repair it. It doesn't have a door either come to think of it and is filled with my old Mercedes and loads of household rubbish I haven't yet taken to the tip. I'm hoping to get it sorted this year as i'd love somewhere to work on Monty when the bad weather is upon us which seems to be 10 months of the year. I swear to God I saw Noah sail past my house last night in his ark!
