Mine was a crack in the shower tray, which lead to water pouring through the kitchen ceiling on Xmas eve.
The B-word (daren't type it in full - just in case) is threatening to start playing up too. I'm sure this is because these things can hear us - I'd started making enquiries about wether it was sensible to switch to a combi B-word before replacing the en-suite. Should've expected other stuff to start playing up. |

Well so far this year (i.e. this morning) the mixer wagon tractor that we use to feed the cows wouldn't start, first time this winter, and then a pipe has gone on the dairy JCB loader that we use to feed the mixer wagon that feeds the cows. Thankfully we have a couple of spares!
I'm now inside warming up having done my (supposed to be monthly) check of the first aid kits. Edit: The third thing was me getting our forklift stuck across the middle of the gates. Bloody thing gives up on the first hint of something vaguely slippery. Of course it was a to move because I'd specifically used that rather than a telehandler because the access was tight. Hi Barbara,
Never had a Kenwood mixer so can't give a comparison, but myself and the current Mrs Rashers are more than happy with our Kitchenaid mixer. They are eye wateringly expensive (for a food mixer) but we have never regreted the purchase. The other reassuring thing is the design doesn't seem to have changed for years. Nigel |

Kettle blew up on Christmas eve - the central heating system needs powerflushing as its getting old - and the Defender needs a full major service and MOT next week as well as a few little jobs doing that have cropped up in the year. The joys! 2001 Td5 CSW (weekend and snow mobile) Plenty of lights, M/T tyres EGR delete, roofrack, swing away wheel carrier, snorkel.

Hi Barbara. Go for the Kitchen aid... Heather and I have had ours for about 10 years now... It's been used a lot and shows no signs of wear and tear at all... It's a bit eyewateringly expensive but.. As above... you pays your money etc etc..
