England 2002 Defender 110 Td5 SW Coniston Green
Another one stolen and stripped
Up on Facebook there's some pictures from Yorkshire Police showing a 90 stripped and dumped in a field near Knaresborough. The thing that stands out is that it looks like a Kahn version. Interesting to note what the scroats left behind..

Cheers John, I still can't quite get my head round posting links on this tablet. In spite of the tradegy of another Defender being stolen you can't help but smile at the fact even scroats appear to have some taste.

When I was looking for a 90 earlier in the year I visited Knaresborough to view a car. The lad also had a Kahn 90 in the same colour as this - I wonder if it's his? Why go to the bother of stealing a Kahn then leave the bits on it, surely there would be more and easier parts to sell on if it was a standard motor? I've heard that L/R theft is quite big business in that part of the country, I think I'd be sleeping in mine if I'd spent that kind of money on it.

Agree the thieves had some taste this time and left all the Kahnt rubbish behind, maybe if they had spent more with Kahn they wouldnt have stolen it!

Sadly this sort of theft seems to be getting more common. Really hope they catch them though. Nothing worse.
