It's a locker and there's an internal leak hence taking it out. it's being couriered today, worked on tomorrow then supposed to get couriered back tomorrow for fitting. trouble is the courier has said they have a backlog and might not be able to pick up today, so I have a 90 sitting in the garage with no diff in it.

I have a full diff sat on my bench, I took it out to fit an ARB which was pre-built. It's in North Yorks you are welcome to borrow it if necessary. I won't be home til thursday, but you could send a courier for it anytime as it's at our workshop and someone will be around. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

That's a tremendous offer Willy, and much appreciated.
I'd rather not say too much on the forum but the diff has been in/out/in/out etc due to problems with the locker, and the situation in terms of the contractural chain of who's responsible for the problem is at present very clear and has been accepted, the last thing I want to do is potentially muddy the waters by using another diff. I'm just praying that it's collected as planned, worked on tomorrow as planned, and returned tomorrow as planned. I have a big work job on friday shooting the first part of a summer catalogue in the lakes and I need a defender for it due to where we're going. I should be able to borrow one if the worst comes to the worst, but I want mine back. I dont want to risk damage to a mates due to what we'll be doing and where we'll be doing it. Thanks again for the generous offer though. |
