This is gonna hurt, but it's time to let my best toy in the box go. It's just not practical (or cost effective) to take the Defender with me when I move to Portugal so very very very very very reluctantly, "Zippy" is up for sale. She's a 2007 Defender 110 XS. She has all the usual XS spec, Heated Seats, Heated Windscreen, "Green" glass, Air Con. Just minus the XS sidesteps as these were removed to make way for the rock and tree sliders. Also the mud flaps have been replaced with Glyn Lewis Mud Sheilds (rears not fitted as yet). She's done just over 88K miles and is mechanically sound. The bodywork is undamaged although there are some tree branch scuffs as expected from a "Greenlaning" Toy. Most of these will probably polish out with a weekend of elbow grease. There is a small scratch on the rear side door. Inside is in very good condition, just a small split on the side of the drivers seat (as one of the photos show). This was like this when I bought it and certainly hasn't gotten any worse. Engine and Drive-Train are totally standard. The suspension, apart from the rear shock bushes and the rear A-Frame Ball joint are standard. She sailed through the MOT on the 5th August with no advisories and a comment of "it's one of the best Defender's they have in" and they are a Defender specialist. Below is a list of all the modifications; • Genuine Expedition Roof Rack and Ladder (Factory Fit) including a lockable Thule Bike Rack • Safari Snorkel (Aug 2012) • Wolf Headlight Guards (Nov 2013) • RDX Rear Light Guards (Nov 2013) • Paddock Spares PM753 30mm Wheel Spacers (Feb 2013) • Paddock Spares PM716 Alloy Steering Guard (Nov 2013) • GKN UJs (July 2014) • Wildbear Front and Rear Diff Guards (Feb 2015) • Devon 4x4 Transmission Guard (Feb 2015) • Paddock Spares DA6540 Fuel Cooler Gaurd (Jan 2015) • Paddock Spares PM960 Heavy Duty Steering Rods and Ball Joints (July 2014) • New Drop Arm Ball Joint (July 2014) • High Articulation A-Frame Ball Joint and Fulcrum (Jan 2015) • MudStuff Cargo Net Fitted to side of Centre Cubby (March 2013) • 240v Inverter via Aux Fuse box in rear (March 2013) • RDX LED Rear Work Light with dual switch on dash and rear load area powered from relay and Aux Fusebox in rear (Jan 2015) • Stainless Bolts (All Door Hinges, Bumper, Bonnet, Crossmember, Spare Wheel Carrier) (Jul 2015) • Blue Sea Dual USB Sockets on side of Cubby Box with Dash Switch (April 2014) • Mud Stuff Roof Console (Nov 2013) • Maxon CM10 CB with external speaker (Nov 2013) • Long Springer CB Antenna (Nov 2013) - Fully SWR'd • Small Springer CB Antenna (Nov 2013) - Not used, requires SWR, meter included • Later Style Rear Door Glass (Jan 2015) • Safari Equip Rock and Tree Sliders (Jan 2015) • Safari Equip Hitch Receiver and Recovery Point (Dec 2013) • Peugeot 405 Wiper Conversion • Cooper STT 265/75 (Feb 2013) - Plenty K's of mileage left (Spare never used) • Polybush Dynamic (Orange) Lower and Upper Rear Shock Bushes (Jul 2013) • Glyn Lewis Front Outrigger Mud Sheilds (March 2015) • Glyn Lewis Rear Crossmember Mud Sheilds (March 2015) - Not fitted • 4x Lightforce 140 Spots load split in with 2 relays and powered from Aux Fusebox in battery compartment (Sept 2012) • Aux Fusebox in battery compartment with dedicated 100amp incoming fuse • Small Aux Fusebox in rear load area • Twin Air Horns wired via Aux Fusebox in battery compartment and Relay • Extra Cigar Lighter Socket on side of Cubby Box • Sony XS-F1037SE 10cm 3-way 140W Speakers Front and Rear with 2 spare Grilles • Sony MEX-BT3800U Bluetooth (Audio Streaming and Phone) CD Headunit • InPhase USW10 300W Subwoofer mounted to rear of Cubby Box • LED Bulbs in Interior Lights • Stubby Radio Aerial • New Battery Fitted (Dec 2014) • Brodit Dash ProClip - Attach mobile/tablet holder to • Programmable Front Intermittent Wiper Relay • Terrain Vehicles Side Awning (Jul 2011) Since I've owned her, I have (apart from the first two) serviced it myself religiously and have all the receipts to show. Have always used Castrol Magnatec WSS-M2C913-B (or later C). I last serviced her at the end of November 2015 with all filters including the Fuel Filter. Comes with the Log Book, all receipts, User Manual, Land Rover Defender Workshop Manual (digital copy) and 2 Keys (one of which is an all in one key, the other is a standard fob and key). Also comes with a First Four Recovery Kit containing (to quote the website) "4.5 metre staple-spun 24mm Polypropylene Tow Rope which is rated at 8 tonnes and is spliced with reinforced sleeved eyes, 1 x 19mm & 1 x 22mm tested Bow Shackles and a pair of leather gloves, all held in a tough carry bag." There are also a load of spares and service items that will be included, I just need to go through everything to see what's in the workshop. As seen as Miss January on the 2015 Britpart Calendar and also used in their Magazine advertising after winning the photo competition. I'm looking for £13,500 which I believe is a pretty low price so no offers please. As it's almost Christmas, I will be away with family, but will be back on Tuesday should anyone wish to view her. I'm near Uttoxeter in Staffordshire In the first instance, please message me or email me on craigrogers@craigrogers.co.uk Enjoy the photo overload; Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography Last edited by x-isle on 29th Dec 2015 11:58am. Hello
That's an awful lot of car for not much money I would be tempted with the Rack if the new owner doesn't want or helps negotiate a deal. Doubt you will have that for sale long ! |

Thanks all.
A couple of people have mentioned that I've undervalued it but to be honest with everything else that is going on at the moment I would just rather sell it for what I'm happy to let it go for. Once we get to Portugal and settle in, I might look for an older project to play with. Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

May I offer at least a little piece of Christmas good cheer. Once you're settled, pop over the border to Defender obsessed Spain and pick up a bargain for that new project. Here's a good place to start: http://www.automovilesmartin.com Buena suerte Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Thats way too cheap. I paid £15k for a standard 110 utility with a couple of small gremlins like a dent and a weeping diff seal and a lot of surface bubbling corrosion around the windscreen. That was an 08 plate with 75k on it. Why couldn't this have been up two months ago? Would have bought it with no questions asked almost haha! North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader
