it just shows you how smart the border collie is ... not a pet i would recommend but lots of farmers about and some smart dogs .

I love mine to bits, but as stated they are a lifestyle not just a pet which is why the rescue centres are full of them.

I did think that was awesome when i saw it earlier. All working dogs working are brilliant.

Having still got one collie and recently lost another i think they make fine pets - ours were/are fully trained although we have almost never used it...they are stupidly clever, but my new working spaniel isnt far behind, if not with a different edge and she is a bottle of pop! with just the same energy. I suppose you need to go into many dog breeds with your eyes open - but a collie makes a great loyal pet and as they pick things up so so fast easier to train than many others Mike

Had a border collie for 13yrs before he died, made a great pet with kids etc etc but did need plenty of time / walks was quickly trained up and mega smart, never needed a lead and was a great companion for Mountain biking DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

They are seriously smart dogs, I have three. Great pets also, but yes, you need to excercise them, physically and mentally.
