Its possibile on PDI i suppose that if the correct selection is made then the limiter is not activated, i have tested all the possibile varients or market programming after on a already PDI'd car and no difference was made.
But as you say , if done at the dealer on set up anything is possibile. I suspect it may have been a setting used to give MPH when programming the IPAC for the first time, this seems the only logical way to me. Pete |

LOL
It would be cheaper to clone a non limited vin number into a existing car, reload the AsBuilt data on it matching that vin as per the factory and then bolt in on here ![]() ![]() Nice offer though, ill think on it hehe. Pete |

When my Utility had an injector issue the dealer re configured the settings. I was in their workshop when the techy re-set things ie ticked boxes.
I watched him doing this and up came the country selection box. I questioned why it wanted to know and the techy told me one of the reasons was the speed limiter and that the Saudi option didn't have the limiter. Fair play to the techy would not select Saudi no matter how much I begged. Pete could you not take the vehicles back to PDI mode select Saudi then do your stuff ? 130's have feeling's as well you know ![]() |

I think it may be possibile by fitting a new instruent cluster, but not a used one or pre pdi'd one because...
The CCF or Car configuration File is stored in the cluster (some of which is OTP on the dealer tool) which is the vehicle set up eg limiter, fuel quantity, tyre size, Saudi speed warning lights, ipac market etc etc, if the CCF was not read from a old cluster or was not present when fitting a new cluster all those questions would get asked from the tool on set up again.
