Yep, quite a few threads on the matter, try a search for rev hang or similar. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Its called idle jack and is designed in to the 2.2 Landies '65' plate Defender XS 110 Station Wagon

Idle jack is something completely different and both 2.4 and 2.2 TDCi have it. The "rev hang" feature is specific to the 2.2.

I get into a game with it and leave my foot on the clutch where i can just to make it not do it...looking at other posts im not alone.
I did think it was me not driving it properly at first with clunks etc Mike |
