Been a while, but I finally got a tyre carrier for the rear door. I have a Kaymar on my TDi, but don't like having to open it separately each time, and have had the door with tyre shut on my back a few times, so bought a Rijidij. They open with the door then lock open and release with a lever. As I mostly open the rear door on cambered roads, this is a great feature. I forgot to take pics during the build but will take some of the fitted item soon.

I have grown tired of lifting the Engel fridge in and out, so looked into a second battery so I could leave it in. I originally wanted one to go under the front passenger seat next to the original, but the only ones that would fit were smaller than I wanted.
I fitted this Baintech 110Ah lithium with inbuilt DC/DC charger. It fits neatly between the drawer and rear seat, and I knocked up a plate with some plugs and a fuse holder from a scrap piece. I'll add more plugs soon. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Fitted some LED headlights, they seem to be all the rage. I have had a light bar and driving lights, but they are no good when you are on low beam. Cleaned seven years of dirt out while I was at it. Just waiting for it to get dark to test them.
