You can get it here without the extensions. You need to extent the highlow range wire and the difflock wire.
This is not my picture but mine is installed similar. It is bolted through this Alu plate. you can see the nuts. Click image to enlarge Before the new plate installation. You can see the connectors. In Discovery 2 I have moved the ECU from engine compartment inside, close to the other ECUs. Some wires I have just moved, to some I have soldered additional wires. It is easy, just make it step by step - wire by wire. And use heat shrinking tubes to cover the solder joints. Signal from crank position sensor is fed by a shielded twisted pair - I made it with 2 wires and shield from a coaxial cable. Covered by heat shrink tube. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "BlufÃnek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo

Di will add a pic once daylight returns,
But I used the loom extender job by, and mine sits on th dog guard right behind the headrest, way out of the way of water and oil ingress, Only downside - it's £200 and they click rather a lot ( don't hear it onc rolling though ) |

Here's an option to go under the cubby, just past half way on page 1. This truck is a fantastic build...

That's great I d8dnt think you would be able to extend it that far. Does it restrict how far you can put your seat back? 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car) 2009 - current .... 2005 zx10r |

I once owned a Td5 90 SW that was one of several prepared by SVO for a journalists off road jolly somewhere in Spain. Amongst a number of other modifications they moved the ECU to the top of the bulkhead behind the drivers seat using an extension loom. The vehicles and event appeared in one of the rags at the time including photos of them crossing rivers with the water well up to bonnet height - as witnessed by the amount of crud I subsequently discovered behind the dash. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

I moved Pam's up behind the passenger seat. No bulkhead but have a roll cage cross behind the seats and a dog guard so the ECU is mounted on a plate attached to the cage and the floor.
This is using the standard loom, no extenders. As the previous post, you just need to extend the diff lock, hi/lo and transmission brake wires. I drilled suitable sized holes in the floor behind the seatbox and used the original grommets. Looms rerouted... Click image to enlarge ECU and fuse box mounted... Click image to enlarge Cover made to protect wiring from coats etc... being stuffed down the back of the seat... Click image to enlarge If you have a bulkhead behind the seats it's a LOT easier as you can just mount it to that. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/ |

You can reach the bulkhead behaind the seats in the middle as the cables are on the left side off the gearbox and then go over the transfer box to under the right seat. The length that is used to get from the left side off the gearbox to the right seatbox is used to get behind the seat. Roel

I had a box built for me out of all it cost less than £50 iirc, the whole relocation exercise is on my truck thread over on LR4x4 including the car files/drawings for the box. http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=78984&page=2
