Improving security on 300tdi fuel filler?
SWMBO has just come in, apparently some Censored has decided to help themselves to some of her diesel. I've ordered a new cap as the old one could be original and the lock worn to "open with a spoon condition". The cap was locked but just pushed back onto the neck, no obvious signs of it being forced.

Is there anything else that I can do to stop a repeat? I don't see going too heavy with locks as they could always remove the flexi if they really want it.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Paul.

Is this whats on there?

I would say these are the most secure as they are huge and have 2 locking pins.

But as you say, if they really want it they can just cut the pipe.... Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Yeah, exactly that cap. I tried her other keys in it and they didn't turn so it may be not that worn but for the sake of a tenner I thought it was worth getting a new one. I'm going to have a look at a fuel filler extension tube to see if I can fix some mesh or the like to to it as an anti syphon guard then work out a way of fixing it in place. There's absolutely no damage to the old cap, not a mark on it. Confused
