Most definitely!
Just think the often unbelievable, peculiar and downright odd difficulties that Caterham has encountered and due to these problems the symbiosis that has occurred with this very strange and peculiar one off Defender and its owner is probably the glue that is keeping the universe held together. My opinion is should Caterham ever be parted with this machine then life as we know it would not exist, for it is entirely possible that Caterham’s vehicle is a conduit where slowly but surely all that is wrong with the cosmos is being put to rights. On the other hand and just as feasible, it may be as I have said before, Caterham and his vehicle are both traveling slightly off the normal path that the rest of us are journeying on. Sounds good I would buy into that… Sort of Caterham’s views on stubby spanners, like, ‘I’m not an idiot. At the end of the day, I've learned a lot, like stubby spanners are specially made for dwarfs’ For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

Definately yes - without it we wouldn't have the "Caterham Scale"
Mind you, there's probably a Virgin train driver complaining to the workshop that for a moment his train sounded like a Defender with a whining rear diff'! |

I want to change my mind. I've just read the last thread. But then again the case of caterham versus virgin trains will be a good one.

I'm still convinced that all Wayne's Defender woes are due to a combination of poltergeist activity and a misalignment of the interior mirror causing negative vibrations which influence the whole vehicle / driver symbiosis.
Can't wait for the next instalment of the long running what if, will it, can it, should I, I know there's no connection BUT... ...................... Edited to add I posted the above before I read:
Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Caterham has to keep his Defender and has to keep us up to date. Wayne, you are our lucky charm - because it all happens to you, it won't happen to us. Keep up the good work, and may 2016 be your trouble-free year! That's not a dent, it's a rivet. That's not a dent, it's a rivet. That's not ... oh! That is a dent!
