I know i'm a muppet but at the time it seemed ok..
Car is a series 109 with a 200 tdi / box / axles I went to get it out of storage yesterday, went down cranked it, battery fairly flat, not enough to start it given the cold. put it on charge for a few hours, went back disconnected only the negative battery charger from the battery and tried to crank it. nothing. (I think i heard a pop such as a fuse going?) I'm guessing I've blown a fuse somewhere in the line as i've got no power to the dash anymore? I don't really know where to start looking as i've not had the car long and i didn't put the 200 in myself, anyone got any tips on where to start looking? the transplant is a neat and tidy job. |

Are you thinking you have caused a problem by leaving the +ve battery charger terminal connected?
