I wouldn't be surprised if the final version looked a lot like that. Quite J**p-ish in my opinion.
Thank god we bought the last of the real Defenders. |

Might as well just buy a Jeep Wragler and staple a Disco 4 grill to the front of it

If the front of the current Defender is not deemed pedestrian friendly, how could they put something like that on the road? 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Of course it's pedestrian friendly. It hugs them and hugs them and doesn't let go

Either that or scares them away! Read in the latest LRO magazine that the new Defender has reached the 'clay build' stage. Hopefully it looks nothing like this one! I'd like to imagine the 'step' to the next Defender will be the equivalent of the step from Series 3 to 90/110. Familiarly different, but the quite same.... |

I suspect the 'step' is going to be similar to the original Beatle to the new version, or 2cv to C3: you see that they tried, but they failed.

Oh my... Sacre bleu. Mon Dieu.
That is one ugly vehicle. I hope it doesn't look like that. Leave well enough alone... |

....and anyway, there is no way this can be a landrover. Look at the panel gaps - they are all uniform
