United Kingdom 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 CSW Corris Grey
Rear fold down step rubber
Hi,

The rubber on my rear fold down step is starting to crack and look tired after only a year. I will get them to replace it under the warranty, but I thought a pice of nice black chequer plate would look rather good.

I have searched the Internet high and low to no avail. Does anyone know somewhere that sells something like this?

Buy a piece of 2mm ally checker and a pair of tin snips. Then make a template and cut, drill and rivet.

Or buy the Masai rubber they sell it separately the only place I know of that does .

Have fun arguing with land rover about accessories. Apparently the bulkhead brackets, standard body matched on my puma, were considered accessories when I flagged up some paint issues. I did ask the bloke what would happen if I removed those brackets and he explained the windscreen would be insecure along the base. I paused and he didn't see the point at all. I won the rest of the paint argument though
