£45k for a 110
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201511269010398 £48.5k for an unregistered 90sw. Seems strange a franchise dealer let a unregistered car leave their dealership http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201512109368537 2015 90SW Heritage MY16, 2016 90SW XS MY16 (123rd b4 the last build) & RRS HSE MY15 |

They are offering the 90 with number plate LR16HUE which is illegal because it makes the car look newer than it is. Land Rover were not given permission to allow Heritage models to be registered after 1st March, which would be suggested by this plate. The reg costs about £399 from DVLA so its no big deal.

As long as the vehicle was registered on the 1st March 2016 or later you could put a '16' plate on it.
It would only be a problem if you had registered the vehicle prior to 1st March and then wanted to transfer a'16' plate on to it as you would be making the vehicle look 'newer' than it is. Nothing I've read suggests that there is any technical or legal reason why a Defender couldn't be registered after 1st March 2016 but it seems that Land Rover would prefer for that not too happen. 2015 Defender 90XS HT |

Is there any point anyway!
I really don't think a MY16 Defender would ever show any difference in 'used' value in Glasses Guide if it were registered either as a 15, 65 or 16 plate... Thoughts? YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

I think you are probably right Pete, I don't think it would make much difference either.
In the long term it will be things like specification, condition and mileage that will have a much greater impact on used prices. 2015 Defender 90XS HT |

AND a radio...
Amongst a whole host of 'Factory fitted options'... They also refer to it as a Landmark model... Perhaps fitting the AirCon and radio cost them the additional premium... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |
