I have just been reading about this Land Rover Charity Convoy from Lands End to John O'Groats in July 2016. It's to Support three charities. Air Ambulance, RNLI and Homes for Heroes. It sounds like it might be quite good fun.

I've booked up for this. It might be a nice idea to have a defender2.net meet up for any of the forum members that are going.

In the very early stages of discussion, but if we can use ANY Landrover vehicle - we may try and beat the world record for this trip
But only in early stages of discussion / planning at the moment, If this fails we may "plod" it in our 90 |

20 a ticket ? Who's to stop any landrover joining in the convoy at any point along the journey ? Are all those northern owners expected to drive the 600 miles to the starting line and then pay for the privilege.

Hope to see loads of Defender2.net members there. Don't want to be overshadowed by Discos, RRs, Ewoks etc.
