So it's been three years and two days since my beloved Defender went off to it's new owners, and despite a few promising starts, I've not owned another since, and it's looking likely I'll not own another anytime soon - especially as I need a Transit, but I'm sure I could make do with a 110 USW.......
I don't know if that's the reason I've found myself being distracted slightly by inferior Jeeps though. The most distracting being the little Renegade. There's one local to me, which I found pretty ugly looking when I first saw it. But the more I see it, the more I think I like it. And they're actually very impressive off road too... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gthrdNtQuJQ I can't help but think Land Rover need something like this instead of the 30k+ posh stuff. I admit I've not really kept myself in the loop with the DC100, the last I heard there were rumours it was going to be put into production as a standalone model rather than a Defender replacement, and if it did surely the Renegade have a run for it's money, in both looks and ability. |

Hmmm not sure myself.
If you want something basic and capable from Jeep why not look at the Wrangler? ------------------------------- 👲🏻 1986 ex-Military 90 NAD 2.5 Soft Top. Sold 🇬🇧 2015 Defender 90 - Ripon Landrover Heritage 006 |

I think I'd prefer a Jimny tbh.
Or a Duster. Or a Niva. |

Is it me or is that on portals? If so that's quite cool. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
