Thanks Ian, yes we are lucky & it is mainly due to the weather & lack of rain I believe. My 107 has minimal rust, but lots of sun damage & scars from a hard working life on a farm, before a restoration of running gear for extended off road touring. The previous owner did the Canning Stock Route back in 2004 & I have clocked 10000miles all over West Australia, mostly off the tarmac. I hope that my Heritage will follow suit but I won't be around in 60 years to see how it held up! Perhaps a great grandson/daughter will be nursing it along.
