HD Drive flange central nut torque?
All,

I've been lurking around for a while, but haven't posted in the forum yet Smile

Here goes:

I installed HD drive flanges on our Puma 110, which wasn't too difficult. However, I'm experiencing some issues with the large nuts/caps. If I do them up too tight, the rubber ring gets deformed. Does anyone know what torque these caps should be set to?

Thanks and best regards from Holland,

Sven

I had the same problem. I ditched the rubber ring, filed them with grease and whacked up them up tight.

FYI, didn't have this prob with the Ashcroft ones.

Thanks for the advice. I'll leave them as they are, but if one of them comes loose, I'll probably do the same :=)
