Hi,
Just returned from a visit today. we decided to rent a car at the airport (20GBP) and have a bit of flexibility as we needed to catch a flight at 5.30pm back home. We visited Solihull in the late morning to have a bit of Xmas shopping and lunch before heading to the site. Really liked the tour and extensive knowledge and engagement of our tourleader Phil. Well, when I went there a couple of years ago everything was organized by my dealership, half day factory visit, half day driving experience.
Taken by car to Milan, then private jet to Birmingham, and cars there waiting for us.

Well, our Geneva dealer doesn't seem so generous. Or, I have just not bought enough new FFRR and Eewoks from them yet.

I did wonder if you could catch the employee bus from the car park they have at the airport.
Incidentally you could get the bus direct - but as with all public transport, best to avoid it! just worth noting there is a direct bus from the terminal to lode lane If you have time, pop into Solihull for touchwood - its a big shopping centre but has cafe's, cinema etc, the motorcycle museum is ok - nothing special either How long have you got in the area? I ran into Eric this morning who informed me of the great Land Rover camaraderie that is so much a part of the Land Rover fold - I am looking forward to meeting adafish and LR90XS2011. Thank you to both and I wish you both a great weekend

No prob. ..Unfortunately my 90, Derek , is having a bit of TLC at the moment so will be in my T4 Transporter. I did ask my contact at LRE Solihull if they do collection from airport but not heard back yet...I'll be on pick up area in a red T4 Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..
