For me I like the rims but they don't go with the defender.
Out of interest what are the weight ratings on the rims? I know several times people have used other manufactured rims and they are underweighted for the vehicle they put them on. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

With the gross kerb weight of a Bentley weighing in at approximately 1000KG more than a 90 and with a top speed of 205mph and the fact the Defender will be never off-roaded I think they'll be fine! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Considering the amount of negativity you've received, I think that's an enlightened attitude you've got there. Credit to you. |

I think the grill looks really good. How or who cut it and jointed it?

I would suggest that 3" lowering springs would result in severely restricted suspension travel,...almost on the bump stops?

It all comes down to personal choice. They're not for me but I support your individualism 100%. If we all followed the same path it would be pretty bloody boring.

Even on the road, this is going to mean "very little" suspension travel,..hitting any sort of bump/undulation at any sort of speed will cause the vehicle to hit the stops and result in a very poor ride......IMHO. Pickles. |
