It uses a bulb, a simple bulb in a simple holder, no magic just a bulb available for around £2 in its holder Whistle I started with nothing and still have most of it left!

If it's any help, I have a broken bulb (not) illuminating the rhs heater control on my 2013 USW.

After some rummaging, the LR parts dept sold me part RTC 3635 at £1.43 which looks right. The bloke said it did most of the dash lights.

I'm embarrassed to say the problem I've got is that I can't get the old bulb out of the holder. It won't pull, push or twist and I don't want to mash it with pliers in case I have to get the dealer to do it under warranty and make it more difficult. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop
Now a 2013 110 USW too.

That's the one and I see most places sell them for about 25 pence.

And I went and and tried again after my post and managed to change the bu99er. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop

So did anyone establish for sure what the clock bulb actually is?

Is it STC1205 same as the hazard switch?

Mine has become very dim and needs changing Big Cry

Thanks Thumbs Up

That looks to be the same as STC1878 (green) which means that STC1205 (clear) or STC1877 (orange) should also fit I think.

That Ebay link is massively expensive though at £4.99 - these bulbs are generally about £1.50 each from LR Shocked

The Puma clock bulb appears to be the same shape and size as a Disco 2 clock bulb, YAW000020 (formerly YAW100030), but the Disco is clear and the Puma has a green sleeve over the bulb.

It is the same as the Ebay link above (Boltonbits), which is actually the only source of green ones I have sofar found (clear ones are available from many sources).

The three part numbers listed in my post above are the smaller bulbs of the type to fit the hazard switch and are different to the clock.

Another happy shopper here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/291703553888?_trks...EBIDX%3AIT

If the link dies it was from seller 'sellyservice' - search out '12V 2W RU509TMGR'

Same seller also has the oil I used in my 2.4 Puma gearbox and transfer box: 'CASTROL Syntrans Multi Vehicle 75W-90 Manual Transmission Fluid'

Hate to quote another post again, but on this one occasion I will.
It's funny you post that pic, that was mine which I took and fitted a few years ago.
I was just going to mention is it the sameas the rest of the dash bulbs?
The P/N for the bulb above in the photo I had replaces the bulbs in and around the centre dash.

I'd be inclined to think it might be but could be wrong, I
The are a push fit and also sods to remove.
