e-bay leather bits for dashboard and handle etc anyone?
Hello

Rather than buy these ready done from the likes of Urban Truck, and the fact I am about to fit my glove box lid so not sure the off the shelf kits will work.

Has anyone fitted these kits? a DIY glue on leather (pre cut etc) and stitched.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RED-STITCH-3X-DA...SwVFlUEWOc

seller has 99.9% rating and has other bits to match.

Is it worth a punt? £80 instead of at least £250?

Give me something to do over Christmas Smile

Door cards cost £80 Leather cost £90 and the glue was about £25

I'm looking for £130 Plus postage.

The glue i used was Evostick contact but not the red tin, i used the Green one as its more of a paste. It took me a full day to do them Shocked

They shafted me terrible with my headlining when they were originally Top Gaitors. I went to them initially for gaitors for my Discovery 2 which were amazing so I asked them if they did headlings for the Defender 90. They told me to send mine to them (at a huge cost by the way) and they'd make one up free of charge made out of leather as they'd take a pattern and then be able to sell them on. I was cool with that, who wouldn't be happy with a free leather headlining? Anyway, first they lost a panel and then they were having trouble sourcing leather to complete the job so sent it back in alcantara that can only be described as a job carried out by Stevie Wonder on meth amphetamine. When I complained they sent me a leather one for half price (when they'd originally agreed to do it in leather anyway) that was cut wrong and didn't even fit leaving an inch gap either side. At this point being over £300 out of pocket I just gave up and threw it all in my garage and am now buying a brand new headlining for the wifes 90 from La Salle Trim who make some amazing products. I had intended to do the whole of the wifes 90 in TG's leather products but after this experience I wouldn't touch them with a pole.
