Just fitted a set of the new BFG All Terrain 2's to my TD5 on new wolf wheels. Specifically to play in the snow.
What a revelation. Almost impossible to slide or spin the wheels on fresh compacted snow on the roads here.
Just been up to the Col du Petit St Bernard to try them out. Look good too with the Bonatti Grey Wolfs

Hi, good to hear they're good in the snow! Keep us update on how they perform in the wet too please? Also some nice scenic photos wouldn't go amiss Very Happy

I had the same experience with them last weekend in our first snow of the winter here.
Even giving it some wellie I struggled to get the traction control to kick in Very Happy

What about on the soft, slidy, just-laying-on-the-tarmac stuff. I have no problems in the snow with my Cooper ST Maxx, but they're not as great as full-on snow tyres on the above described, recently settled stuff. Thinking of getting some Nokken's on my spare steels.... Monsieur Le Grenadier

It was quite icy where I was and the ATs performed far better than the MT's I had on last winter under the same conditions.

Had mine out for the first time not long ago. Amazing on the road, even better in the mud. Great. Thoroughly recommend! (Yep first time post too, just to endorse!) Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Guys, can anyone tell me about the noise levels of the new KM2?

I currently have ST Maxx and contemplating swapping them out as I'm finding them too noisy on the motorway (shame, as they're amazing off road).

Many thanks... Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon

I just replace my continental contacts with KO2 s and find the KO2s very quiet on the tarmac.

I've just swapped the KM2s for KO2s.

The reduction in road noise is quite drastic Smile

I prefer them in the snow / Ice as well over the KM2s
