Why not link into the Scottish 4X4 Response groups, I'm sure somebody within these grooups could help, maybe a MOU between the groups could be achieved.

Definitely speak to the resident 4x4 Response team. If in doubt contact me as I am part of the national management team. Cheers.

Thanks for the responses guys, and the welcome too, a couple of our guys are already members of our local 4x4 response, as i understand they are only activated by the police in times of a challange to the infristructure already in place, we are activated by our local nhs, when nhs deems things too sporting for there drivers. which is a lot sooner than the activation of 4x4 response, there are areas of overlap tho but rather than have an officiall request from us i may campaign some of the guys and see where we go cheers folks

All 4x4 Response Groups are available to be called by any Cat1 or Cat2 responder at any time and they will welcome any deployments. Many Cat1 organisations will already have an MoU with their local response team and I believe there is one in place with the NHS in several areas of Scotland. It would be more beneficial to tie in with them for you. North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader

Hi
Find out who the local 4x4 response controler is, they may be able to call out the guys on your behalf. We run a similar NHS support in Suffolk, we have the advantage of being 4x4 drivers so can respond quickly Cheers Monty-2015 2.2 110 XS Puma Station Wagon Yoda Disco 3-Sold Larry Disco 1-Sold Muddly XS 90 TDCI-Sold Pearl Disco 2-Sold Larry Disco 1-didn't want too but sold |
