I thought the Getrag MT 82 gearbox had a maximum torque capacity of 500 Nm?

Thanks to everybody's great reaction, I still cannot wipe the smile off my face
To anybody who has sent me a PM, sorry I'm not allowed to reply as I haven't posted enough yet. I've been very fortunate in the cars I have owned over the years, but the Bowler is just a very special car, even yesterday whilst at the fuel station, I get thumbs up!! and in the last year of build, I hope this one will become a keeper. I am going to have the roof changed to Black, and will add some carpet just to keep the noise down on longer journeys, also will have a look at some Audio upgrades over time. Thanks again for everybody's reaction and the waves are back whilst driving and spotting other Defender drivers, another thing I never got with my previous 9 months drive... I will add photos as and when... |
