Locked Out!
Went to the tip on Saturday and left the engine running, keys in the car (obviously!) and doors shut

When I went to open the driver's door it locked itself.

Had to call SWMBO to bring the spare keys down - the plip would not work and had to get in the car through the tailgate (key would not open either driver or passenger doors)

Not sure how it could have happened..........any thoughts?

not sure why the key wouldnt open the doors or the remote not work even if it was running. - wrong set of spare keys?

do they work now? Cheers

I had the same on mine this week with the lock frozen, i think the blipper doesn't work if the engine is running. i just used the key in the drivers door from my spare set. Thumbs Up

Happened to me last night, seems to happen in extreme cold - central locking goes haywire. I was 100 miles from home when it happened wit no spare key Big Cry Thankfully the door never closed fully and I was able to use a wire coathanger to get the lock opened Bow down Life is not a rehearsal!
