I've used aeg.milwaukee with great reliability
Currently using a cp2400 .loads of torque and good battery life.

But a snap on gun has a wee bit more oomph and trigger feel @ a price though

I've got the snap on gun at work. But I'm thinking of a Milwaukee for home. I've given up with dewalt, the drills just don't last Sad

Ok a little more help please. Some of these are giving a maximum bolt size that they will drive like say 12mm or 16mm, what does that mean? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

As far as I know when a max bolt diameter is quoted it is on the basis of typical recommended torque for that size, ie if M16 is stated as max bolt size it means you are unlikely to have enough power to torque an M20 fitting.

There is of course no reason why you couldn't use a suitable torque multiplier if you needed to.

Impact wrench es .

Ok that makes sense cheers.

As it turns out I have been looking at my compressor and it seems it may have enough free air to run some of the guns out there which opens up a whole new level of tool fetishism. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

How suitable is the CP2400 for removing rusty nuts and bolts around a Defender chassis? More importantly, how likely is it to shear off the head of a typical M6 bolt? CP2400s are available at a reasonable price (£120ish), or would I be better off, i.e. safer, with a compact lower torque impact driver. My ratchets and spanners are failing to shift some nuts/bolts; but this is likely to be an occasional use tool, hence the desire to keep the costs low.
Thanks in advance
