I sprayed the visors on the soft top with Halfords dark grey vinyl paint when I did the conversion in 2000, apart from where the straps have rubbed a little they still look great. I'm sure painting them will do the job 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

I have already done it martin but although they look fine, they are still tacky after 5 days. I'm not sure what to do about that.... 2016 D4 HSE

Yes I had seen you had done it, what I should have made clear is that painting can work out long term 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Had another day out shooting yesterday using the Defender, the VGS glass gets lots of admiration and questions, especially the back door glass. People can't seem to understand how it all goes together, they think the glass replaces the panels!
Today I replaced all the wipers front and rear, out with the rubbish old Bosch standard types and on with new Bosch Aerotwin. The fronts are the retro fit AR13U, and theoretically the rear is the same, however, as I now have the new VGS glass I can increase to one that clears more of the glass as I no longer have the door glass rubbers in the way, I have gone up to a 16" AR16U, however I could have gone up to 17" comfortably. I also adjusted my front washer jets, still not great but it's as good as it's going to get I suppose. The new wipers are VERY good though, much better and quieter on the glass. http://www.windscreenwipersdirect.co.uk/ar...340mm.html Here's some pics.... I've found the AR13U don't last very long before they split
Be interesting to see how you get on. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Looks fantastic, a great transformation!
Have you considered painting the aircon surround in black to match the grille (black pack style?) I think it looks great with the Grey roof 'floating' very Range Rover, looks great! 110 Tdci Double Cab |

Get some Dirt Defenders on the front. Solves all of that splatter, it was driving me nuts on my white 90!

You can get 14" wipers on the front just to give a bit of extra water clearance Ray
