Have taken the winch off the front of the 110, dont need HD shocks anymore.

do they make a decent bit of difference?

i've got an ARB bumper to go on the td5. they feel a little underdamped as standard

i love these shocks tbh, still run them on the rear, sits perfectly flat with my 3 ton ifor on the back.

they stiffened the front up nicely when the winch and bumper were on - lots of heavy towing over long distances on crap roads and they never once got warm.

Marcus.... i've got that same (well, similar) BRB bar and 8274 on my 110, and even with factory HD springs, and OME HD dampers (and A/R bar) it smacks the bumpstops very easily.

I think i might try some 90 HD rear springs on the front (as opposed to the standard 90 rears/110 HD fronts it has now)

Trouble is, I don't want it to lift it too much. I like the good road manners.

Jamie, i fitted 90 rear HD to the front of my 90 with a bigish bumper and TDS fitted, lifted it 1/2 and inch. your bumper is heavier than the one i have so it may suit your needs better - only £17 each or similar.

Ross - you still got these? Cheers

I have these on front and back and don't tow, just offroad and onroad. They're fantastic.
