I think JLR decided to increase the UK allocation after discovering often hesitant interest for that particular edition in other markets... My local dealer alone sold 20 Heritages and a fair number of Adventures, but there was zero interest for the Autobiography here. And Geneva is one of the poshest high end car markets on the planet.
I have to check, but at the original launch of the three Celebration editions, it was announced that Switzerland got 300 Heritages, around 200 Adventures, and 50 Autobiographies. I will verify what happened, but strongly suspect that our importer was able to reshuffle the quotas after disappointing Autobiography interest, while the others found takers like candy. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
