Bought this strap and shackles last week and was so impressed with the comms from Mark who went out of his way to ship me another when the parcel didn't arrive before the weekend. Buying on eBay can be a gamble but this has been the best experience I have had with a seller and wanted to share not just because the service was brilliant but the product is also a high quality and thought it would be a good share here.

Hi Steve, in a previous life, I used to test rebar and wire rope fittings. Then went on to doing research and testing of polymers.
Also used to make and test webbing harnesses, hence why I sometimes 'rant' on about the differences between polyester and nylon etc. Brendan |

Brendan, thanks for that info. I've often wondered if my green 2tonnes straps were strong enough. Is there any reading material you would recommend regarding rope/strap working practices, strengths etc..? Cheers Simon |
