If you re post when you have chunky tyres with some profile that will help...

currently it looks wrong, I don't get the Bentley wheels on different cars, mainly VW's in the past. Then I owned merc's and people with VW's and Skoda's / Audi's put AMG rims on them. They even keep the Bentley or AMG centre caps... I thought I'm young enough to be down with the kids but I just don't get this?

As others its your truck and at least its different.

Positive comments I like your Urban Truck type bumper Smile

I think the grille looks OK? Wheels and lowered suspension not for me though.

I don't think it's any different to most Defenders out there (polished and highly prized, with a different grill screwed on the front).
It seems like it is 'home brewed', as in, not spent a fortune for a twisted/urban/bowler brooch.

It looks like it's not intended to be used 'off-road', so why not lower it.

I'm assuming the OP is in the low 20's age range...'Randy Landy' badge is a bit shocking, though more original than 'one life ..'

Positive comments?

Very individual, good for you.

Negative comments?
The bonnet badge.... Though I don't like it saying 'Defender' either....

As said above, a friend had the Bentley alloys on a slammed bora, looked fab

Come on guys this isn't the sort of forum that treats newbies like that. Yes it may not be to your taste and it's not particularly to mine either but it's his motor and if he likes it what's wrong with it? I only really come on this forum now after trying quite a few others, and that's because of the nice atmosphere and no one telling people to "jog on" if they don't follow the norm. Ray

Never seen them on a defender before.
I think with the new tyres they'll be better? for me I dont like the grille the most, or the lettering.
If you like it thats all that counts though Very Happy

They're not vastly different to other forum members who have road-based low profile tyre setups, remember Killer90 having similar 20" wheels too. I will stick my head above the parapet and say they look cool. Not for me I would be too worried about scuffing them. I would consider getting rid of the Bentley centrecaps and perhaps revisiting the bonnet badging but I am old, nevertheless it may give your vehicle extra unexpected credibility if you did perhaps? Would like to see a clearer picture or two of your grill.

In general terms I am not in favour of lowered Defenders. Yes I can understand why say owners in Switzerland lower them to get into low height car parks.

20" alloy rims and low profile tyres? Lets just say I go to a Land Rover conversion company on a regular basis and they frequently have cars parked up with 20" rims and low profile tyres. Only slight issue is buckled alloy rims from hitting potholes at speed. Not a cheap thing to sort out at the price of some 20" alloy rims.

Defenders are individualised and I like to see what owners do to their vehicles. However to me a Defender is a work horse, yes modify it but do not compromise its basic functions in life.

However it is up to the individual owner what they do with their vehicles.
