Has anyone got one of these???
http://www.extreme4x4.co.uk/acatalog/TRANSMISSION_GUARDS.html I'm not sure of how much it will cover (fuel cooler) but it looks rather solid and unlike the D44 one you won't get covered in transmission oil (I think). Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

Having marshalled at our clubs winch challenge event last sunday and saw them put to good use i spoke to Extreme and ordered one for my TD5 - i do a lot of laning. Went for the 300tdi version as i dont have the mid box and felt that this gave more protection. Looking around their price was more attractive even with the postage Mark |

i see Andy Nash and Paul Church are there plus the two Whitebreads, looks well attended. i have one of those guards which i adapted to go fwd and protect the underside of my auto box on a 90. they are good solid bits of kit. i believe the original design is from someone down Torquay way, mine was £40 from a show from OEC. Thanks for the responce guys,
Judging from the responces it's gonna be a good buy over the D44 guard. I will also have a look at Entreq's Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

Colin and Roz were at Scorpion but the owner at the time was a Turkish Cypriot that ran it in the ground. The new owner owns Durite and wanted to get into 4X4's and hence bought the business.
I'll upload the pictures once fitted though this is likely to be Xmas week as off to Dartmoor for the week from next Friday - winter sun and all that!!!!!!! Mark |
